I’m not going to lie, I was pretty nervous for this Day In The Life shoot with LKSquared Photography. I wanted to lose weight first, have the cleaning lady come, get my hair and nails done, have our clothes planned out, but of course none of that happened. And none of it mattered. I knew I had to do this from the moment I met Lauren and heard about documentary photography. I’d look at her work and videos of families I’d never met before and find myself tearing up.  I was so jealous that they had all those moments captured so beautifully. A whole day, from wake up to bedtime.  I take tons of photos of my girls but it’s different when you have the whole story. Plus, I get to be in the photos for a change!!! Oh and my husband had no problem with it once he heard he wouldn’t have to smile for even one photo 🙂

Some people might not understand why I’d want photos of my girls making me crazy, crying, or full of boogers. This is why.
