lifestyle newborn photography
Ok time to start blogging sessions again!! Thanks so much for all the love on my last blog post, it really means a lot!!!
My first newborn of 2018 was this little beauty in Brooklyn. I photographed their first cutie as a newborn not too long ago. He is already the best big brother!!
I’m constantly amazed by the Moms I meet with newborns that seem to have it all together. When I first came home from the hospital with my girls, I was a mess. I cried all the time for no reason. There was milk all over all of my clothes, and I could barely walk the first few days. So if you’re worried about having photos taken because you feel like a mess, I’m your girl! I want to show you how beautiful you are even though you may not feel it. If it makes you feel better, I still feel like a mess most days 🙂 .
I can’t wait to see these guys again when I photograph their cousins Bat-Mitzvah this Fall!!

I’m so grateful to have a job that reconnects me with old friends. I was so thrilled to hear an old college friend was having a little girl and even more thrilled when she asked me to come photograph her! I think E was just as excited because she did not want to sleep one bit!! Apparently that hasn’t changed much, Mom told me she’s not a very good napper. She’s lucky she’s so cute!! I can’t believe she will be 1 in just a few weeks! It goes way too fast.
Don’t let this time go by without capturing some beautiful photos of you and your baby! Contact me now to book a newborn or family photo session! firstname.lastname@example.org
Many photographers will turn down photographing newborns if they are older than 2/3 weeks old. They are considered too old for the sleepy, curled up newborn images. While I do recommend scheduling newborn sessions within the first 2 weeks, I will photograph any age. Mom wanted to capture this time while her third little boy was still a newborn. I let her know that at about 5 weeks old, it would probably be difficult to get the typical newborn poses. As long as she was ok with a more lifestyle type of a session, I was happy to capture this time for her and her family.
I could have photographed this ball of mush all day he was so adorable!!!
If you’re regretting that you never scheduled a newborn session with your little one, or you just want to capture your child(ren) at this time before they start walking or before their baby teeth fall out, etc. etc. don’t hesistate to send me an email! email@example.com 🙂
My big girl. I love listening to her read 🙂

My baby hasn’t been feeling well so she spent a lot of time in bed today watching TV. I had to capture her mushy face, even though it was super dark in the room.
